May I introduce you to my new denim skirt? I already mentioned in another article (here) that I was going to get one myself and here we go. You can’t imagine how much summer makes me happy. I have the feeling that it’s way easier to get dressed during this time. Skirts, shorts, blouses, tanktops, sandals, cropped tops and so on, everything is possible! I have never been a big fan of skirts in general but this classic denim piece might have got me into it. Lately I’ve been obsessed with all kinds of skirts and started off trying different things. I’m wearing it together with a sleeveless light blue blouse, Aldo cross sandals and the Valentino black lockbag.
Another fact I like about summer is that if you have made it to a certain skin tone, all the colours just match. Try to go a bit crazy with your makeup too. I guarantee you, it feels so good! I went for the Kiko smart lip pencil in coral.

Oversized jumpers, oversized skirts, oversized coats. Fashion right now is oversized. And if you still haven’t got used to, it’s defintely time. This time my tribute goes to the American brand, tibi. With their minimalistic fashion they appeal to many women who have a flair for modern style. What I really like about this look , is the cropped top that combined with the skirt, it covers the bellybutton. And have you had a look at the malone sandals yet? I’ve got to tell you something about them.. they’re on sale, yay!.

It hasn’t been my first outfit post in these Max Mara pants. But I’m sure you know the feeling after you’ve done something and suddenly you know you should have done it the other way! That’s how I felt. But I think that in fashion it’s not about having the newest pieces that just went straight from the runway to the stores. It’s more about reinventing and mix-matching differently than the day before. And let’s be honest, who has got the money for these expensive pieces or simply to get new stuff every day? Surely not a student like me.. I felt like putting a white top together with my Max Mara lovies which makes the look softer than with the peachy blouse I put on in Rome (last look here).
Ok, it’s slowly time to get ready for summer & the beach. If you’re still looking for THE bikini to wear this season I might give you a little help. My motto for this year is ‘as colourful as possible’. My absolute favorite bikini for which I’m dying for is the Emilio Pucci on the right side. The colours, the shape and pattern are simply amazing. As usual I put on some affordable pieces as well.
What’s in my closet? Two Palm Swimwear tops. Just as the trendy brand ‘Triangl swimwear’ , Palm Swimwear comes from Australia as well. Looks like they’re very good at this. A lovely Aussie friend introduced me to the brand and I couldn’t be happier that she did! Even if they’re totally the opposite of colourful, I bought them last season so that’s kind of my excuse.. Lately I’ve been craving for laced shoes.. You can see them on every blog and instagram account. Everyone is going crazy for them especially for Olivia Palermo’s alltime favorite shoebrand, Aquazurra. They know best how to make you look totally chique and laced up with their heels AND flats!
