Yesterday I got home from an amazing girls holiday. As you could already see from my last outfit post, we went to the French Riviera and explored life at the Côte d’Azur. Such a wonderful place to spend the holidays especially for us girls. I think you can guess why.. It’s a paradise to do some shopping. I found a few little treasures down there. There is a little jewellery market in the heart of the old town in Nice. A place where everyone can find something! As I’m obsessed with fine and delicate pieces I felt like I was in heaven.
I will show you all of my acquisitions in other posts and of course on instagram so stay tuned!
For now: here are some of them and my new auburn coloured culottes.

Yesterday happened to be the last day of the Cannes film festival 2015. Again this festival brought us some glamorous moments on the red carpet which were quite delightful for our eyes. I picked out the best black and white looks for you. Why black and white? It wouldn’t have made a difference if I just said ‘Best of Cannes’, because the dresses would have been exactly the same. The fact is that if you want to be sure on the red carpet you can never do wrong with black or white. It’s as simple and elegant as it could be and you’re not going to risk a failure on the red carpet.

Emma Stone wearing Oscar de la Renta , Joan Smalls in Alaia
Natascha Poly in Versace, Ana Beatriz Barros in Bluemarine
Jourdan Dunn in Ralph & Russo
Kendall Jenner went for the same Alaia top and skirt as Joan Smalls. She just changed from white to black. Who wore it better?

For the resort 2016 show creative director Raf Simons launched a very easy-going collection.
Dior couldn’t have found a better location for the show.
Nowhere else than in beautiful Cannes where the legendary film festival will take place very soon.
So it doesn’t happen often to see Flip Flops on the high fashion runways but somehow even Louis Vuitton decided to include them in their resort show (held in Palm Springs). Regarding the tank tops: We all thought they have gone out of fashion but it looks like Raf Simons is trying to get them back in. At least it’s something comfy to wear.. The collection itself varies from multicoloured patterns, monochrome to seethrough and even plaid fabrics. There isn’t one thing missing, thumbs up !
