Why did I call this post ‘French Chic’? I am definitely not French. My temperament is Italian for sure, and my French got utterly bad after having finished school and with that; French lessons. Continue reading

It’s my baby’s birthday! Exactly one year ago I posted my first article on here. It was about Jason Wu’s fall 15 collection which I was blown away by. Maybe it was coincidence that this happened on Valentine’s day, maybe not. Continue reading

If luxury had to be represented by one brand, for me it would probably be Hermès. Of course we could start to argue about that and some people might come up with Chanel and many more houses worth mentioning, but only if you think about the bags, what comes to your mind?
Right, if you own a birkin you are pretty much well supplied. It’s the bag that comes at the end of your wishlist when you could have afforded any other bag. That’s how I would define luxury.
So I picked this outfit because it’s burning hot in Zurich right now and it had to be something light. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to write about it.
I’ve always liked the ancient Roman style. Even as a kid I used to wrap towels around me so that I could look like one of them. It’s such a simple and beautiful way to dress! The pale pink tone of this overall gives this delicate touch every woman would look for in an outfit. Some high sandals and you’re perfectly styled from head to toe.

It hasn’t been my first outfit post in these Max Mara pants. But I’m sure you know the feeling after you’ve done something and suddenly you know you should have done it the other way! That’s how I felt. But I think that in fashion it’s not about having the newest pieces that just went straight from the runway to the stores. It’s more about reinventing and mix-matching differently than the day before. And let’s be honest, who has got the money for these expensive pieces or simply to get new stuff every day? Surely not a student like me.. I felt like putting a white top together with my Max Mara lovies which makes the look softer than with the peachy blouse I put on in Rome (last look here).

It never gets old, the all-white-look stands for class and pureness. There are many ways to get your white look. Either you want to go for the ultimate elegance, the casual one or on a hot summer day you might also like the boho chic. Once you get a white piece, no matter what, you can always recombine it with patterns & all the colours, so it’s really worth it even if you might change your opinion or want to make another use of it. These are my personal favorite looks from the spring 2015 runways. From left to right Carolina Herrera, Armani, Gucci & Hermès.
For those with a lighter wallet, don’t worry it’s possible to look awesome even without spending too much. This look is a mix between Mango & Zara. Two brands which are easy to be found all over the world. You might hurry a bit with the shoes though, they are already put on sale (which is actually quite awesome).
