Friday Favorites, Escada

This look is going to be one of my last ‘Friday Favorites’. There are just plenty of other subjects to write about than one look from a runway. As much as I love to write down the thoughts and express the love to a look, sometimes things need to change and develop and so does my blog.
But before putting an end to my little tradition I still want to show one or two fall/winter looks that inspired me the most.
So the second fall look (first one was Mugler) concerns Escada. A pure and very clean collection seeking for minimalism. Even if it is only a simple light blue blouse, the long cuffs give the certain thing to this outfit that I’m obsessed with. An elegant way to start wearing fashion for the colder days.

Milan Fashion Week has started, my favorite fashionweek and the excitement is huge. Karl Lagerfeld presented his first ready-to-wear show this year and it was a big success. Karls pon pons are around again as well. The hard looking leather represents Fendi in a very pure way. “La crème de la crème” walked down the runway. From Kendall Jenner to Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls and of course his muse that can’t miss a show, Lindsey Wixson, they all looked flawless in the new creations.

Topshop Unique

Beige is the colour that appears in almost every look of the TOPSHOP UNIQUE show. London fashion week has taken over and is already about to amaze us with incredible outfits. This time they presented a rather elegant collection with a slightly girly touch.

The makeup is very natural. Motto is once again: makeup that doesn’t look like you have some makeup on. A little touch of rouge makes the face look very smooth. Hopefully the latest makeup trend because I’m totally in love with the idea of simply blushing up my face and keep the rest simple.

Of course Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner couldn’t miss out on one of London fashion week’s most important show. The British model made her appearance with a new sidecut.
While her friend let the people talk about her new haircut, Kendall Jenner caught everyone’s eyes with her look that couldn’t be faulted. She adjusted to the show as if she already knew what it would look like.

Minimalistic is the word that comes to my mind when I saw Posh’s new collection. She almost resigned completely on patterns that take away the attention from the single pieces of her collection. The large, long sleeves dominate and surely will be the next big trend everyone will wear on the international streets. Especially the season’s coats will let some free space for our arms. What a nice thought..

VB4The long sleeves appear again and it looks like Stella McCartney’s fall14 show left some traces..

let’s make it real

There is actually no better time for the launch of a blog than a cold winter day next to a hot chocolate.. It’s valentine’s day and my thoughts don’t belong to a valentine most people are thinking of. No, my thoughts are all about my new little baby. Welcome to the hidden closets where you can find the pieces you are dreaming of but nowhere seen in your own closet (sadly my daily discovery). I’m going to start it all with the Jason Wu show. New York fashion week is calling and I know I’m a bit late. But better late than never right? So he’s preparing us for fall, winter 2015 in his best way. Combining fur with our loved military green we will stay warm for sure. If you are looking for your inner diva to come out, this collection will give you the opportunity. I can only say: Great job Mister!
