Today I am endind a short tradition the way it started, with Chloé. At the time I would say Continue reading
Haven’t you ever asked yourself, if you don’t know already, what our childhood role models, the Olsen twins, are doing? Here’s the answer: They established their own fashion label The Row. Even if you don’t hear much about the two girls anymore, the label is one of the most successful American fashion houses. They are well known for the modern oversized pieces and the minimalistic way of creating fashion. By being in the spotlight and having to do with fashion in the celebrity business we can imagine how well they know what a woman of today wants. This fall15 ready to wear show is one of the best examples which make us look forward to the colder times so we can get dressed into this coziness.

This look is going to be one of my last ‘Friday Favorites’. There are just plenty of other subjects to write about than one look from a runway. As much as I love to write down the thoughts and express the love to a look, sometimes things need to change and develop and so does my blog.
But before putting an end to my little tradition I still want to show one or two fall/winter looks that inspired me the most.
So the second fall look (first one was Mugler) concerns Escada. A pure and very clean collection seeking for minimalism. Even if it is only a simple light blue blouse, the long cuffs give the certain thing to this outfit that I’m obsessed with. An elegant way to start wearing fashion for the colder days.

One more week is over and it’s time for our ‘Friday Favorites’. I was inspired by Chiara Ferragni’s latest Blumarine dress she wore at the AmfAR Gala. I personally think that she looked flawless in it and so I refreshed my mind and went through the whole ready-to-wear spring/summer 15 collection of Blumarine again. I couldn’t explain myself why I forgot about this look because as soon as I saw it I went like “wow!”. I didn’t know that ‘mermaid meets antique Roman’ could be that fantastic!

I’m not only posting Friday Favorites, that’s for sure. This week I just had to take the time to get some things done and that’s why I haven’t posted anything so far. But now let’s just focus on what we should. My Friday Favorite goes to this incredible gown by Emilio Pucci. The beads as well as the side cut outs give this dress his uniqueness.
Peter Dundas always managed to give the looks this brand recognition. He literally makes you say “oh that’s a Pucci” just by seeing one single piece of the collection. That’s why it brings tears to our eyes thinking of him leaving the house. I’m sure though that Massimo Giorgetti (founder of MSGM) will show us all, that he is just as capable as Dundas. Again I was inspired by one of Spring’s ready-to-wear 2015 runway looks.
