May I introduce you to my new denim skirt? I already mentioned in another article (here) that I was going to get one myself and here we go. You can’t imagine how much summer makes me happy. I have the feeling that it’s way easier to get dressed during this time. Skirts, shorts, blouses, tanktops, sandals, cropped tops and so on, everything is possible! I have never been a big fan of skirts in general but this classic denim piece might have got me into it. Lately I’ve been obsessed with all kinds of skirts and started off trying different things. I’m wearing it together with a sleeveless light blue blouse, Aldo cross sandals and the Valentino black lockbag.
Another fact I like about summer is that if you have made it to a certain skin tone, all the colours just match. Try to go a bit crazy with your makeup too. I guarantee you, it feels so good! I went for the Kiko smart lip pencil in coral.

Today I finally found the time to shoot my new purchases from Milan. This weekend, just after my exams, we drove to Italy to see our family. I could finally turn off my brain after studying with good conscience. So I took the time for one of my favorite (and I think every girl’s favorite) activities. You can’t go to the fashion metropole without doing some serious shopping. I’m wearing this kind of a jewel, Valentino, in combination with an all white look and camel lace up heels.

The fashion piece, which had grown in popularity during the 70’s, is the piece you need to have in your wardrobe right now. Especially the high waist one is trending on every fashion blog. I guess it’s because it matches the boho style which is leading in fashion recently.. (If you haven’t noticed yet) The denim skirt I hated during my whole childhood is popping up on all the street style pictures and in so many different ways that it actually made me start to like it. So now that my exams are finally over and I can dedicate my time to my truly missed blog, the first thing I will be doing these days is going to get one for my closet as well.
I mean look at Poppy Delevigne! How adorable is that !?

It hasn’t been my first outfit post in these Max Mara pants. But I’m sure you know the feeling after you’ve done something and suddenly you know you should have done it the other way! That’s how I felt. But I think that in fashion it’s not about having the newest pieces that just went straight from the runway to the stores. It’s more about reinventing and mix-matching differently than the day before. And let’s be honest, who has got the money for these expensive pieces or simply to get new stuff every day? Surely not a student like me.. I felt like putting a white top together with my Max Mara lovies which makes the look softer than with the peachy blouse I put on in Rome (last look here).

Ok, it’s slowly time to get ready for summer & the beach. If you’re still looking for THE bikini to wear this season I might give you a little help. My motto for this year is ‘as colourful as possible’. My absolute favorite bikini for which I’m dying for is the Emilio Pucci on the right side. The colours, the shape and pattern are simply amazing. As usual I put on some affordable pieces as well.
What’s in my closet? Two Palm Swimwear tops. Just as the trendy brand ‘Triangl swimwear’ , Palm Swimwear comes from Australia as well. Looks like they’re very good at this. A lovely Aussie friend introduced me to the brand and I couldn’t be happier that she did! Even if they’re totally the opposite of colourful, I bought them last season so that’s kind of my excuse.. It never gets old, the all-white-look stands for class and pureness. There are many ways to get your white look. Either you want to go for the ultimate elegance, the casual one or on a hot summer day you might also like the boho chic. Once you get a white piece, no matter what, you can always recombine it with patterns & all the colours, so it’s really worth it even if you might change your opinion or want to make another use of it. These are my personal favorite looks from the spring 2015 runways. From left to right Carolina Herrera, Armani, Gucci & Hermès.
For those with a lighter wallet, don’t worry it’s possible to look awesome even without spending too much. This look is a mix between Mango & Zara. Two brands which are easy to be found all over the world. You might hurry a bit with the shoes though, they are already put on sale (which is actually quite awesome).

Regarding outlet shopping I’m not very lucky. But this time I found a little treasure at a Max Mara outlet. I was trying to look for some culottes everywhere and finally found some camel ones there. Therefore I’m following this trend and couldn’t resist myself to get them. I’m trying to keep it simple with a white Zara blouse and some high sandals from Stradivarius.
